One of the most important thing to keep hydrate during the summer. At least intake 10-15 glass of water throughout the day. Always remember that artificial water can’t take the place of natural water. Make sure you always carry a bottle of water when you are out and about.
You can intake lots of fresh fruits and juice to beat the summer. Vegetables like cucumber should be included in diet during summer months. You need to avoid spicy foods. You can also refer to the healthy diet to be followed during pregnancy and foods to avoid during pregnancy.
Dress for the weather
During the pregnancy wear light colored clothing during summer. Cotton type materials are comfortable during hot summer days. Maternity clothes like maxi and gown type dresses that allow air flow and also decrease sweating are recommended. Need to avoid wearing tight dresses.
Hair care during pregnancy
During the pregnancy if you have long hair then tie it into a bun to provide free air circulation in your neck and back. This can help reduce sweating too. You can also go for a haircut to make it short to manage it properly during summers and pregnancy as well. Use a cooling hair oil to apply on your hair and scalp while washing your hair.
Skin care during pregnancy
During the pregnancy your skin can very sensitive. Whenever you go out apply sunscreen to get protected from the sun. Being hydrated also prevents dry skin. Do not forget to wear your sunglasses when yor are under sun. A cute hat or scarf can also be used to save you from rays of sun. Use a good lip balm during summer to prevent from dry lip.
